- If we forget about HAM(6/8) for the moment then yes.

- Of course.

- There are some programs for this job e.g. PPaint, AdPRO etc.
-

- What do I have to hear young man! Look two lines above and see what I've
- written! ;-)
-
- You control this feature by use of the palette (Menu Display/Palette
- (RAmiga+T).
-
- If you are in the "Palette Control" window activate "Custom Palette" and then
- you can choose how many of the actual colors you want to use.
-
- If for example you want to leave the first 8 colors of a 256 color picture
- free then set "Colors (Used)" to 248 and "Offset Color Zero" to 8.
-
- If you want to leave the last 16 colors of a 256 color picture free then set
- "Colors (Used)" to 240 and "Offset Color Zero" to 0.
-
- If you want to leave the first 6 colors and the last 2 colors of a 256 picture
- free then set "Color (Used)" to 248 and "Offset Color Zero" to 6.
-
- The easiest way to control your settings is to select the "Edit..." gadget in
- the "Palette Control" window and set all colors to e.g. black on the "Palette
- Editor" screen. Then activate your changes, render your picture and check the
- "Palette Editor" screen again to see which colors have been used.
-
- Hope I could help.

- Replied also by email.
